I recall Al batteling a serious case of sciatica just days before he was to lead Kairos #34 at HSP. The nerve pain was tremendous and he was truly suffering...but he led the weekend dealt with the pain and never once complained.  Al always had a smile on his face and a sparkle in his eyes - He Loved sharing the message of Love and forgiveness to the men at HSP. When we all get to Heaven what a day of rejoicing that will be!  Rest in Everlasting Peace brother Al!

A Gentle Giant has moved on and is now with the Lord. I rarely use the term Gentle Giant, but Al certainly filled those shoes. Al led Kairos 34 which was my first exposure to Kairos. Al led us into Hancock with a gentle and genuine heart in a way that touched me for years to come. His actions clearly showed his love of Christ and the Love for the ministry and the men we were serving.  There is no doubt that Al’s life has left a positive mark on countless men as he shared and showed the Love of Christ.

Al you will be missed on this earth; however, we look forward to serving and worshiping the Lord with you in Heaven.

We appreciate Al’s family sharing this great man.
