We all are all getting together for thanksgiving and Jeweleigh (Tracy) is coming with family we are finally together. I know your spirit will be with us.

I got to meet your  gorgeous daughter,Jeweleigh(Tracey) last week,and grandsons Caden, Logan and Mac.  They are 3 of the sweetest, most polite boys you could ever meet.  Your daughter has done a fine job -I know you would be proud,  I know I don't have to say it but I know you regret not meeting them.

I remember when we took the kids to the saloon in Old Tucson, they were having a western play and the Indian walked on stage in full head dress looking like every Indian in a western looks, and the Indian said Oye Va!! You laughed so loud and hard you stole the limelight.  It was funny!! I remember we went back to the same show a few years later and the Indian said How!!  It just wasn't the same

Over the years we still laughed at that Indian

Al was great at teaching me how to drive... He was one to let me take over pretty much anytime I wanted too. Al took me to ride the dirt bike on some trails in the woods somewhere in Barnhart, mo. When we were going to leave he let me drive. The truck was in reverse & we almost went over the cliff...and can still hear him today...GOD DAMN IT ELENA WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO KILL US!!! He chuckles and let's me keep on driving ;)

My daughter Elena, had to go to an upscale function with many lawyers present, she needed a dress and couldn't afford one at the time.  Al and I picked out a very chic black dress.  We got it home and I asked him how would we know if it would fit,  I told him that I was bigger than she was so he says. well. I will try it on.  And he did -I have to tell you it wasn't his best look!  Wish I had a picture of that.  I laughed so hard I got a cramp in my stomach.

Al was a mans man. He could build, hunt, ride,shoot and drink with the best of them..  What a gift he gave me!!
