Dear Albert,
We never met. But I feel pretty close to you. I just completed an extensive four week long rebuild to your gold plated Conn 30M. It is in condition better than when it left the factory. It was obvious you loved that horn, it had been played extremely hard and clearly been with you every step of the way. The love put into the rebuild had to equal what I imagined you put into playing it, that was not an easy task, but I like to think you are happy. And I like to think the new owner, a professional horn player like yourself, will be just as happy. I'm honored to be a small part of the story of the horn. It can and will make music again and be loved for decades more.
