Albert James Rennert was born on October 26, 1928, in Ellisburg, New York, his father, Emil S Rennert, was 38 and his mother, Florence G (Seafring) Rennert, was 25. He had four older brothers Gerald, Bernard, Elmer, Robert and an older sister Ethel. He married Jane on November 22, 1960, in Syracuse, New York. They had four children during their marriage. He passed away September 12, 1978, in Brecksville, Ohio, at the age of 49, and was laid to rest in Wakeman, Ohio.
