Bruce was a very kind, sweet man. He and Dee took me in and I lived with them feeling loved and cared about. I made dinner for them and made sure it was ready by the time he got home from work. I think he appreciated having a home cooked meal every now night. I especially took great care in making his favorite peanut butter cake for his(our) birthday one year when Dee was gone. I couldn’t do much for them but cooking was a way to show my love for Bruce and Dee. Bruce cook be funny and silly sometimes. I miss his laugh and his smile.
