Mr. Albert Roan, Jr. the son of the late Albert (Sr.) and the late Idella Dallas Roan Hall was born September 30, 1945 in Troup County, GA. He passed away peacefully, after a lengthy illness on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at EAMC-Lanier, Valley, AL.

Albert was affectionately called:”Bruh” by all of his family members and “Shade Man” by his friends.

Albert was preceded in death by an adopted brother Charlie Will "Flutie" Rome. 

Albert married Wylene Ransom Greenaway in 1965 and into this union three daughters were born, Lisa Ransom, Mia(Jerome) Roan-Brooks and Sheila Roan all of Rochester, NY.

Later, he met and married Ruby Jean Hill Roan and two daughters were born to this union, Lavonne Hill and Angela Roan, of Atlanta, GA.

In 1975, he welcomed his first born son, Carlos Myron (Carlamesia) William, of LaGrange, GA, with Loretta Williams, deceased.

In later years he moved to Valley, AL, where he met Linda Harris, a loving and dedicated companion for over 19 years. From this longterm relationship four sons were born, Carlos(Sierra)Harris, Christopher Harris, Alvin Harris and Emmanuel Harris all of Valley, AL.

Albert also leaves to cherish his memories: one loving sister, Susie Mae Rome Woods, 32 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 niece, 2 nephews, an extend family of brothers and sisters with whom he was raised with on Burkes Chapel Road, and a host of other close relatives and friends.
