Albert W Russell was born 10th July 1935 in Westmoreland Jamaica in a village called Strawberry. He lived with his mother Mary, father Adolphus and two younger brothers uncle Sam and Spergen. Everyone loved Albert very much but he always liked to make trouble and he was nicked named aunt Mary's little brut from his family and who ever knew him in Jamaica. He came over to England in November 1957 and lived with his father who had come over to England 1955-1956 and they lived together in Birmingham. His father moved back over to Jamaica in the early 60's, and Albert moved over to Nottingham not long after. He had lived a very fruitful life and had many children in which gave him grandchildren and great grandchildren. He made alot of friends who thought alot of him even though he was still very troublesome but they wouldn't have had him no other way that was the fun with him and he made everyone laugh. He had his special drink that he always liked to carry round with him in a lucazade bottle that he liked to get everyone he could with it as it was his own special recipe. We met early 2001 and we got together 31st July 2001 and had nearly 11 lovely years together which i wished we could have many more but that wasn't to happen unfortunately. He was a man with a good heart and was there for you whenever you needed him and i know that he will never be forgotten by many people. But i know that we will meet again one day and i shall wait till that day comes.
