good bye cool uncle albert

February 15, 2021
I was 10 and in boarding school in Macao notorious for keeping kids who were kicked out of schools in HK for fighting and other deeds.  First knife fight I ever saw was in that school, only days after I had arrived, by two older students wearing school uniform in the middle of a circle formed by their classmates.  Needless to say I did not feel safe and or secure the entire time I was attending that school.
Uncle Albert visited me there in Macao, with his funky hair and baggy pants he made quite a scene when he arrived at school to pick me up.
We went sight seeing around Macao then visited the one and only casino at the time.  I was too young to enter the gambling section of the casino so we had noodle soup in the restaurant part of the casino instead.  Unfortunately the soup was so very very spicy to a point where we both could not finish it, but we laughed and teared about how spicy the soup was, as well as to the jokes and stories Uncle Albert was telling.
That was the best day I had the entire time I was at that school.
Uncle Albert was always fun at heart, he knew how to make people laugh and let their guard down by telling jokes and made fun of himself.  Uncle Albert enjoyed being around kids and young people, he was really a kid at heart.
I believe death is only for the body and mind, but not to the truth of who we really are, which is conscious awareness, that has no beginning and no end.
Uncle Albert is in my memory as well as in my DNA which we share, and his conscious awareness is out there keeping an eye on us and telling his funny jokes to us to help us get through our days.

Uncle Albert opened my eyes as he took me to my first ever PlayBoys' Club visit in London my first night in town. I just graduated from high school and on my way to Boston from Hong Kong. I only knew the magazine, but the bunnies in person...bo! Uncle Albert is such a contrast from my dad, who would never imagine this to happened. For anyone who knew Albert, he had always been a generous guy. His buddy Thomas Chu is also my guardian in Boston, who taught me a lot about do and don't in business. You will always be missed Uncle Albert!
