We were so close. She was a tough woman. I stayed with her a lot growing up. I learned a lot from her admire her strengh and endurance. She was healthy all her life then got ovarian cancer when she was in her sixties right before retiring from Shadowline, where she worked for 40 some years. She fought cancer with strong treatments and long trips to Winston Salem for 9 years. Was amazing to me. Such a great loss for me! Was and still is Hard.
