Alberta and I have been good friends since our college days at Bowie State Teachers College. I always enjoyed talking and laughing with her. I lived with her for a while and she, Ethel, Rosanna and I, and other Bowie classmates, had a lot of fun with her family and friends. Our first children played together. I will miss her terribly and hope she will be an angel watching over me. My condolences are with her family.

A TRUE “WOMAN OF SUBSTANCE”
My tribute to you Alberta I cannot put in all the words. You were a part of my life since I was a child. Growing up your Mother Mary and Joe Ennis along with Walter, your Aunts were our Family. I remember I could always talk to you and you were always receptive with guidance. Your years of working in the Church and guiding our children has left it’s impact throughout the community and educational system. Gratitude to you my Sister for this exceptional contribution. RIP Beloved Friend

Alberta Elizabeth Butler (86 years old) departed this life peacefully, surrounded by loving family on Friday, August 19, 2022. She leaves to cherish her memory two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, devoted cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home P.A. Chapel, 20605 Aquasco Road, Aquasco, Maryland 20608. Visitation will continue on Wednesday September 7, 2022 at Christ United Methodist Church, 22919 Christ Church Road, Aquasco, Maryland 20608 from 9:00 a.m. until Homegoing Service at 10:00 a.m. Interment 1:00 p.m. at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, Maryland.
