For more than 50 years Alec was involved in aviation in one way or another. Initially a spotter, often pioneering to overseas places where others had yet to tread. Later he switched to photography, and soon afterwards launched Milslides, where he began selling aircraft colour slides on approval to customers worldwide. Milslides also branched into selling plastic kits, aviation books and other related goods at air shows and events, rapidly establishing a reputation as the leader in this field. Then one day, God visited him and he discovered Christianity - clearly God was gazing down from Heaven and decided to attempt to instil religion in a "difficult case." Immediately Alec joined God's community, and became a regular at Church, throwing his boundless energy into supporting his religious conviction.
