Puff Daddy - I'll Be Missing You

Alex and I have been friends since we were 14 years old. We used to hang out at Cropsey Park after school and on weekends. Life was so carefree. I just wanted to share some memories of Alex to show what a great friend he was.

1. One best memory was right after we got our driver's permits, Alex snuck his dad's car out to pick up Joe, his friend and I after school just to drive around. The car stalled after a couple blocks and we were like...shit what do we do now...we both didn't have a license and we were panicking. After an hour we somehow got the engine started and we dodged a huge bullet. Alex always lived life to the fullest with no regrets and he always want to include his friends no matter what.

2. We took driving courses together and we always took lessons the same day. We would take turns driving 90 minutes and I'll sit in the back and vice versa. One time the instructor made me pull over to a supermarket and made Alex get off the car to go buy milk. He walked out with 2 gallons on each arm haha. After the lesson, we were pissed off, but we just ended up laughing about how our instructor utilized our driving time for his grocery shopping.

3. Who can forget all his crazy birthday barbeques in his backyard? Every year he wanted nothing more than his friends and families join him for his celebration on a cold November night in his backyard.

4. When I worked at the bank I told him that I was always stressed out from finding clients and getting referrals. Alex told me " I got you bro." Next day he came in my bank and referred his mom to me to open up some accounts. Alex would always go out of his way to pull through for his friends.

4. Alex was at his happiest when he met Danese. He told me everything about her and when I met her, I knew she would be the one for him. I always felt like a third wheel when I'm with them but it's okay because after awhile she's like a sister to me.

So Alex was a guy whose smile and personality lit up the room and when you first meet him, you would never forget him. He was always there for you no matter what situation. You will forever be missed bro...
