This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Alexander Lea, 25 years old, born on June 29, 1988, and passed away on July 26, 2013. We will remember him forever.
Alex was always a good kid and grew to be a brave and giving young man serving his country. We are so very sorry for your loss and are praying for your sweet family.
Alex was one of the best Airman I've ever known, it was always a pleasure to work with and talk to him. I was lucky to have known him and he will be well remembered and missed.
It was a shock to see of Alex's passing. We knew Alex as a young boy, he was one of Emily's best friends. Our thoughts and prayers to the family. He will forever be in our hearts.
Alex was a good friend and an even better person. It is sad to see such a good person taken from this earth at such a young age. To his family my condolences for your loss.
Doris, Daryl, Katie, and Joanna, I am so sorry to hear about your son and/or brother. I never met him but knowing what a great family you all are, he had to have the same friendliness that you all do. I am praying for you.
We only had a few months of over-lap at Ramstein, but it was still an honor to have served with you. Our Air Force has lost an incredible airman, and you will be sorely missed. Safe travels, where ever you have gone.
We went to school together and seemed to always be able to start a conversation. A life lost far to soon. You are in Gods great hands now and many prayers to his family and close friends.
Alex's funeral will be Friday, August 9th at 1 pm in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. In place of flowers please make a donation to: Air Force Aid Society 241 18th Street South Suite 202 Arlington, VA 22202
Alex, you were the biggest reason i didn't do anything terrible when I first got to Ramstein. Our totally random conversations kept me sane. It was an honor to work with you and call you a friend. I'll miss you.
Alex was just a great kid, ya know? Anyone who knew him would describe him as smart, talented, well-behaved, lover of God, and lover of Star Wars. We attended the same church as his family when he was in high school. I remember him scoring very high on his SAT. Alex is sorely missed. Our hearts break for Daryl, Doris, Katie, and Joanna.
Daryl, Doris, Katie and Joanna, I am so sorry for your loss, and sorry I never had the opportunity to know Alex. My heart aches for you as a member of your family in Christ. May God hold you close. Love you and praying for you.
