Alexander Ramize Galvan, Jr. was born August 2, 1971 in Hayward California. Living most of his life in the State of Alabama, he received his early education in the Lanett City Schools and later attended schools in LaFayette, lastly LaFayette High School.

Alex, as he was affectionately called, was a gifted artist. After completing his GED, he worked in construction and then enjoyed a career as a welder where his artistic skills could be implemented.

Mr. Galvan departed this life on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, Florida.

His survivors include: his wife, Paula Kaye Galvan, Valley, AL; two daughters, Andrea (Anthion) Gamble and Amber Galvan both of Lanett, AL; one son, Austen Galvan, Cedartown, GA; five grandchildren; his parents, Raymond and Deborah Hall, LaFayette, AL; two sisters, Angela (James) Carlson, Gurra, TX and Stephanie (Frederick) Ingram, Opelika, AL; two brothers, his twin brother, Anthony (Marie) Galvan, Valley, AL and Eric (Cassandra) Hall, LaFayette, AL; two aunts, Donna (Jeff) Daniel, Five Points, AL and Cathy Denise Haynes, Lanett, AL; one uncle, Rev. Walter Hall, Atlanta, GA; and, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
