Dr. Stakely meant so much to me and my family. I truly regret I didn't contact him in time. My sister said: He kept asking me to call.

I still have his Obit hanging in my living room. I've moved 3 times since he died.

I STILL HAVE FOND POSITIVE MEMORIES OF ALL THE PEOPLE WHO'S LIFE WE MADE BETTER DOC !!

OMG, Dr. Stakely my Doctor since I was 8 and now I am 53. Sometimes he greet with "Hola, Cómo Está Hoy", I would say, "Sick” spoke no Spanish. Sometimes he would just look at me in the waiting room and say the hospital for you, I would say "ok" I will go pack and check in. Dr. Father would make it all better, not just with medicine but with prayers. My heart is broken because a great man not only left us, he left a Wife whom he loved very much and my heart goes out to Mrs. Stakely & Family. I can honestly say there is no Love stronger, than that of Dr. Alfonso Stakely; he made sure you knew you're important. RIP Dr. Stakely service well done, service well done!

Greetings! Stakely Family. Im one of the great Dr.'s Patients. I must say he was the best Doctor ever. He was kind, frank, thorough and serioius about your well being. Although I didn't frequent his office. I had 2 serious health issues that needed to be addressed and he helped me to face the music and number 1 get ride of my Gallstones by simply saying: "Twila I had a patient with your problem and age and 1 of them stones got out and blocked her bowels and she died". Don't let that happen to you. The 2nd problem he addressed was Anemia. After not seeing him for few years he checked me out and told me my Hemoglobin is too low @ 4.2 and that it could kill me because I didn't have enough oxygen and blood going to my Organs and
they could fail.
He insisted that I go into the hospital that day. He said: Its your choice but this is your life. I then promised him Id go to the Hospital which admitted me immediately and I was transfused and released above 7PTS. I returned to his office the next week with a Hemoglobin of 10PTS. He was so happy I obeyed his instructions. Since then. Ive heard from my sister that he always ask about me. So glad the last time I saw him, I obeyed his instructions. I vow to continue to make him proud even in his absence. Most of all when I didn't have insurance, he'd let me visit at a very reduced rate. Thankfully he did. It saved my Life.  I'll always Love Dr. Stakely and his family for allowing him to serve the people.... Thanks to Mrs. Stakely for giving his patients a chance to mourn him... My Heart is so very broken hearted, I have known Dr. Stakely for 28 years...I meet Him at one of the lowest points of my life. He was like a Father me. I have never met a Christian Dr. Until I met Dr. Stakely. He would pray for me every time I came to see him...and that was almost everyday. Im 1 of Doctor Stakely stubborn patient , When I 1st game 2 him I thoght 2myself oh great thiz Doctor lookz like hez not gona give me all my medz lol but boy wuz I wrong he gave me better medz then my other doctor did but hez a wonderful God angel soldier that took kare of my needz n ill never 4get wen he prayed with me kiz I think he new wat a mess I looked that day, Doctor Stakely wuz a karing person he never judged wish that alot of ppl had hiz heart im gona miz him so much luv u doctor wish u cud of appointed Alaisa 2 take over ir office,rest in love doctor plz dnt let da new doctor give me a hard time lol jk Thank u doctor 4 all ur karing im gona mizz ur smile god bless ur family staffs me n every1
