God has called one of His own to come home. He radiated his love for his wife, family, and his favorite team! I am so glad I had an opportunity to visit with Alfonza and his wife at their home. In the midst of everything, he praised the Lord was so positive. Thank you Lord for Alfonza's presence in our lives, our class, and most importantly, the family of believers! May God bless and keep his family in perfect peace.

To the precious Al Spradley family, Sheila Denney and I send our deepest sympathy and love and this time and the days to come. Your precious loss is Heaven's Gain. It was always such a delight to see the enthusiasm even in the midst of the storms of life and the love and dedication that he had for friends, family. I have taken a scratchy throat and coughing and I will not get to the service tomorrow and Ms. Sheila has an eye appointment. We send our love and prayers.

Al was a true friend whose hard work and dedication positively impacted not only Alexander City Middle School but also Alexander City as a whole. Friday night football and Little League baseball games won't be the same without his smiling face and sense of humor. We will keep the family close in our hearts and prayers and trust that sweet memories and our Father's strength will carry them through the difficult days ahead.

Our sincere thoughts and heartfelt prayers go out to the Alfonza Spradley family for their loss of a husband, son, brother, uncle and friend. I had the privilege to know and have Mr. Alfonza Spradley as a friend for over fifty years. We played and competed in sports during our youth at then Laurel Rec Center (now Cooper Community Center). He will forever remain my friend. May the Lord strengthen the Spradley. family and comfort you during your time bereavement and know that His grace and blessings are sufficient.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto your own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy path. I am praying that God's strength and love will comfort you and your family during your time of loss - know that your loved one will be missed by all that knew him. Treasure the moments you shared together and know that God will guide you in the days ahead.

I have been friends with Al since we started school. I have always loved him and his family. The times that we had at the ball games while Nick and Cornelius played. These were wonderful times for he and I. The time we shared while he worked at the Sports Huddle was precious times for us all. I know that God got His precious angel back and we lost ours. I loved him so and am so sorry for your loss. Please know that each of you are in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you all. Love always
