His Life
January 4, 2019

May 09, 1966: Alfonzo was born to Alfonzo George Collins & Tonnie Collins

Over the course of Alfonzo’s life, he lost both his mother and father, this changed his life drastically. He constantly shed tears for them on their birthdays. However, he accepted that they were in a better place.

He is survived by siblings: Ross Head, Violet Copney, Elasha Smith and Kaseen Collins

May 18, 2010: Married Ronja D. Collins in Tacoma Washington. Alfonzo was ready and willing to accept four children: Ronica Dennis, Monica Jenkins, Montez Buck & Myquita Grundy. This included 8 grandchildren: Anika Robinson, Cameron Coleman, Shaun Dennis, Thalia Buck, Dale Jenkins, Jr, Dalia Jenkins, David Jenkins & Little Montez Buck, as his own.

Although Alfonzo struggled with his identity and spirituality, before God called him home to rest, he finally found GOD and began to understand his calling.

I remember the first time he attended church with me and how the tears ran down his face and he dropped to his knees. He let out a chuckle, I’ve never known this feeling, but it feels good.

After that one of his favorite songs became, "Just Don’t Wanna Know" by Marvin Winans.

On December 11, 2018 in Aberdeen, Washington, Alfonzo went home to be in God's arms and rest .

Not everyone understood our relationship and bond. But we both knew it was unbreakable.

His love and dedication will forever be missed.
