Born A Hundred Years To Late
Alford Ray was born a hundred years to late. He would have been a great mountain man or sheriff of Dodge City. I could see him in the old west of America. He had very little tolorance for big cities or rules. He was a self made man who knew exactly what he wanted and did not want in life. He made many mistakes and would be the first to admit he went down a few dark roads and made choices he could not change. He lived a hard life working in the concrete business but loved the days when it rained calling them " sweet drops of rest". He feared nothing to my knowledge except the loss of people he loved. He was an only child who enjoyed his time alone. He loved hunting and fishing with his dog Bobby. He started collecting knives and guns as a young man and going with his grandfather, Pap to horse sales . He loved hard and lived hard and died on his own terms. His ashes have been laid to rest by the last love of his life and friends in the mountains of Wyoming. God Bless
