The true gentleman

Our dad was born in margate england 7/1/38 where he stayed with his mum dad and 2 brother and 2 sisters for a little while befor they decided to move to scotland with his family they moved to 49 scott place where they stayed.his dad left his mum and young family never came back as case that my dad never ever got to meet him again but as he said they look after there mum so the 3 boys ran the house with there mum and 2 sisters so they started life there they all attented the big school crofthead so as they grow up to young men woman.our father got a job in the B.M.C as algie used to say work was for mugs.he started gong out thats where the trouble started for granny between him and his younger brother fighting but all that passed he started going to the darts snooker and attending the dog track his pets was greyhounds so the next step was the dancing thats where he met his wife sadie our mother they started to date for a while then they decied it was time to tie the knot so on the 6th march 1967 they got married then they got a house but old algie wasnt going whee the council housed them blackburn our father wouldnt move there so they got a house in 16 scott place fauldhouse where they started a family they had a son alfie then went on having 3 daughters margaret sarah heather that was family complete there and we stayed there never moved again as time years passed with mum dad working providing for there kids we all started attending school then on wards to that high school then we all started getting older then we used to go england for our holidays to see the rest of the family then as years go by we started making a life for our self working doing our own thing then mum dad ended up with 6 granchildren all boys there was patrick richard steven louis mark luke and 3 great gran kids richard kian layla.then a few years ago our father took dementia but we were lucky as he also knew who we were and as time went by he forgot more but his family kepted him on his toes as we were in out every day and gran kids there everyday so there was never a dull moment in the haighs household us as a family couldnt have asked for a better father and grandad as he was a gentle man then april 2015 our father health started weaken and within 7 weeks on the 1.7. 15. he lost his battle passed away where left a devested family that cant get over no matter wat everyday he is thought of and missed dearly 

 SLEEP TIGHT DAD GRANDA TILL WE MEET AGAIN ONE DAY WE WIL BE ALL TOGETHER AGAIN LOVE YOU MORE THAN WORDS CAN SAY
