Shack spent most of his childhood years growing up in Parkland. Everybody who was raised there realizes now that was a special experience. We were all family! The girls in Parkland loved Shack because he was cute, had a Michael Jackson afro and could dance his ass off. Shack was telling jokes even back then, he would start out with “ there was a Black man, White man and a Chinese man . We didn’t know then he would become a professional joke teller but Shack definitely could tell a good joke. Ricky was his running partner back then, if you saw one you saw the other. Summer times were spent in Chevy Chase Md, with our Grandmother Mable. She instilled manners and respect in all of her grandkids, that was a must or you would get that switch on the legs. Family was very important to Shack because that’s how we were raised. When you remember him remember what he always said, “ I love you whether you like it or not, and ain’t nothing you can do about it.
