I miss you so Al. You and Mike will always be and are my heros. You supported and loved me - heck all of us - so unconditionally. I love you and know you and Mike are up there rooting us all on. I see signs of you everywhere, that I know you are not gone, your energy has just morphed. I know you are at peace and I too will see you both when I get there. There are those days though, when I just can't believe the phone isn't ringing with you on the on the other end. It is so very quiet around here. Love to you my friend and all of those missing you as well, especially your family! xoxo

I remember  when I met Al. It must have been in about 1966 at Florida Downs. He was looking for a trainer for his broken down race horse. It turned out to be a life long friendship. Al held Baby John before Joe did. Al was driving back to the city from Detroit and stopped in East Bloomfield to see us. Al was an unique; one of a kind. He always said Joe was one of kind. Ithinkthat was why they got along so well. They both Loved horse racing and horses. I miss you Al. I hope there is a Race Track in Heaven!
