Tribute/Biography with lessons about the life of father Alhaji Hameed Akanho Kalejaiye
He was born in the early 1930s by Pa Lawani and Alhaja Alimotu Kalejaiye of Majedun Compound. He built his house in Adee's compound in the 60s. Like Mecca and Medina, so is Majedun's compound and Adee's compound. (Lessons: You can live a fulfill life even in tough circumstance)
Alhaji Kalejaiye was trained as Carpenter at Ojude- Oja and attended 'Magaranta' along. He was with Public Works Department (PWD) in Kaduna since late Fifties and was transferred to Kwara after the State creation in 1967. He voluntarily resigned from the service in late 70s to start saw-milling and carpentary business at Alheri-saw-mill.

My father was an extraordinary man who touched the lives of many people in his community. He was born in the early 1930s to Pa Lawani and Alimotu Kalejaiye of Majedun Compound. He grew up in a time when life was tough, but he never let that bring him down. He was determined to make the most of his life and contribute positively to his community.

My father was a devout Muslim and an ardent follower of Sheikh Jamiu Bulala. He spent many years studying the teachings of the Sheikh and spreading his message to others. He was a regular attendee of the mosque and was well-respected by his peers.

In the 60s, my father built his house in Adee's compound. It was a beautiful house that became a gathering place for family and friends. My father was a generous host, and he loved nothing more than bringing people together and sharing his wisdom.

My father was a kind and compassionate man who always put others first. He had a heart of gold, and he went out of his way to help anyone who needed it. He was a mentor to many young people in his community, and he always encouraged them to pursue their dreams.

My father lived a full and meaningful life, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. But his legacy will live on in the lives he touched and the memories he created. Rest in peace, Dad. You will always be in our hearts.

He was an ardent follower of Sheikh Jamiu Bulala. *(Lessons: You must have a spiritual father/guardian)*.

Alhaji Kalejaiye was a member of Tijaniya. The Tijaniya Sufi Order emphasizes the importance of the purification of the heart through the remembrance of God (dhikr) and the following of the Prophet Muhammad's example (sunnah). The order is known for its emphasis on love and unity and these traits reflects in life and living of the deceased.
