My Brother Peter and I had gone to visit Mum in Hospital and Mum was in quite a state when we got there. 

She was using the Oxygen tube to eat her yoghurt, and that just wasn't her usual behavior.  I got her cleaned up and helped her finish the yoghurt. Her mouth was so sore from the Infection she had so it took a while.

Anyway we had a nice visit not knowing it would be the last time we would see her alive. At the end of the visit my Brother had said his goodbyes and gone to get the Car. I sat with Mum in silence holding her hand and giving her sweet soft kisses on the head. Then I got a message from Peter that he was downstairs in the Car waiting, I messaged back that I wouldn't be long. I gently hugged Mum and said "If I don't see you before I will see you on Saturday ". As my Brother was working at the time.

Mum just looked at me with a Pleading look in her eyes and I kinda knew what she was saying with that look. So I said the last words I would say to her "If you want to go and be with Dad Sweetheart you go", as Dad had passed almost 3 years  before. She looked in my eyes and whispered "Thank you Honey"  I said "I Love You" and she whispred "I Love You Too" and gave me a soft kiss on the cheek.

I didn't know that was the last time I would see or speak to her. 

Mum passed away the next morning at around 7-30am. She was finally at peace
