Alice Williams Ross, 82, a resident of Butner, NC passed away Sunday, May 8, 2011 at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham.
A long time resident of Durham County, the daughter of the late Frank and Syble Smith Williams. She was co-owner of Syble’s Restaurant with Clara Swain, her sister in Creedmoor. She was of the Baptist faith.
Memorial funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 11, 2011 in the Eakes Funeral Chapel in Creedmoor by Rev. Lenny Rogers.
Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Samuel Ross of the home, a daughter, Susan Ross of Butner, a grandson, Joseph Teel of Garner, a sister, Clara Swain of Butner, a brother, Bennie Williams of Fayetteville and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 11, 2011 prior to the memorial service at the Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor.
Omission of flowers is requested and memorials be made to Duke Health Community Care & Hospice, 4321 Medical Park Drive, Suite 101, Durham, North Carolina 27704.
