ForeverMissed

And now these three remain; faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love. Allan Bliemeister expressed exponential love through his roles on earth as a husband, father, brother, friend, leader, teacher, an anchor of truth, and a man of God. A light in the darkness, a beacon of righteousness, with an eye for mechanics. Allan earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in mechanical engineering and went onto work for many decades in the engineering field. Allan dedicated his time to furthering his community by coaching youth soccer, serving as the vice president of the Fond du Lac soccer association, and teaching Sunday school for many years. Still on earth is Allan's high school sweetheart of 45 years Dianna Bliemeister, his daughter Marie Hurtis and husband Blake Hurtis, his brother Robert Bliemeister and family, his sister Linda Abel and family, his sister Janet Lipscomb and family, his brother Richard Bliemeister, his step-sister Kathy Kirkendoll and family, his cousin Greg Hepner and family, his sister-in-law Debra Jensen, his brother-in-law Mark Schneider as well as countless other family members, friends, and loved ones. Allan's wish is that contributions may be made to World Vision. Donations can be made at https://mycause.worldvision.org/campaign/Allan-Bliemeister-World-Vision-Fund-.

My sincere condolences to Dianna and Marie, and all other family members. Allan will forever be in our hearts and our memories. I will always remember waiting every time he came to Canada for a visit, then wrestling him from the time he arrived until the time he left. He was so patient with us younger cousins, playing board games and anything else sports related. He was probably very happy to return home after his visits. An amazing man for sure, always in our hearts.

From Richard Bliemeister:
I want to pass along my condolences to Dianna and Marie. I just want to say I lost my best friend, my hunting and fishing partner, but most of all my younger brother. I love you Al.

I remember rolling down our backyard hill in barrels and dad taking us fishing at 5:00 am (UGH!) Me getting hooked in the head by dad. I was so proud of your college accomplishments and your integrity at work. You always got picked on by Richard and then one day you didn't take it anymore. You SURE loved to hunt and fish. I hope you can get the trophy one while you are up there. Apparently you couldn't see how kind, generous and loving you were. Everbody really loved you I hope your mind and heart are at peace now,

LOVE your big brother, Robert RIP

Allan was a remarkable & spiritual person. I never heard him raise his voice in anger nor did I ever hear him speak unkindly about anyone. He had opinions but he only shared them when asked. He genuinely cared about what was happening to you and always wanted to help. I will miss him dearly. He was a wonderful brother-in-law.

Allan, you are always & forever in my heart!

Uncle Allan

July 21, 2020
Only 7 years my senior, he was the greatest uncle a girl could ask for, he always took time to play with me and entertain me as an infant, I remember him always laughing, smiling and joking around with me, I  wish my children and grandchildren would have the chance to meet him,  when I was around 10 years old my grandmother told him to keep an eye on me in the grocery store, he said it is okay mom if "Pam Gets Lost In The Store We Can Always Find Her In The Cooking Oil Section" Lol he was so funny, you will be missed, Rest In Peace Uncle Allan ✝️

A good friend and mentor

July 21, 2020
I worked with Allan for many years at Kohler Power systems (known as the Generator Division back in the old days). If you didn't know him, he was a man of few words, but when he spoke, people listened. Fortunately for me, I got to know him better.

Allan was a brilliant engineer who was highly liked and respected by everyone. Allan was my mentor and I contribute much of my analytical capabilities to Allan's patient and thoughtful answers when I would constantly ask him "Why? What will that do?". After enough years of that, I knew how he thought and rarely did he need to analyze my alternator designs.

Since we worked closely together (literally, our desks were right next to each other for over a decade), we became close friends. I will never forget the many pheasant hunting trips we took to Iowa, deer hunting and fishing excursions on Winnebago.

Allan, you will truly be missed my friend!
