Alma J. Dickinson (Marquardt) was a loving, nurse minded, colorful mother and wife to Lorne E. Dickinson Sr for over 50 years. She loved to entertain at home. A farm girl part of 8, 5 brothers and 3 sisters. Lorne Sr passed away Feb 13, 1997. Close frends, Jay and Bernice Teachout, and many other friends of Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, Birmingham, MI. We will remember her many stubborn antics and good intentions.

Mom loved any farm, especially fruit farms. This is at Terri's dad and bother Mike's cherry farm orchard on Hoxie Rd. Bi-Centennial farm in Leelanau County.
I remember mom telling me her brother Irv Marquardt was her teacher in a one room school house for don't know how many years for grade school years. 1st thru 8th. Don't remember if all or just some of them.
