I wish we had more time with you, but I'm thankful for the 17 years I knew you as my father-in-law.  I'll remember your kind, quiet nature, your laugh, your love of a good meal,  and how you persevered through the tough things - I never heard you complain.  You accepted me from the beginning and I thank you for that.  So many memories I'll cherish, especially your last phone call to us. We will miss you dearly, but I am confident that your legacy will live on in my husband, Alvin Jr. Rest well now, Dad. ❤
