He Loved so Deeply

April 25, 2019

He loved so deeply and his family and friends meant the world to him. He will be remembered for his grace, heart and keen intellect. He has left this world too soon and his family and friends will take his memory and live on in joy as he would have wished. He will forever be in our hearts and minds.

"Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us everyday. Unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed, so very dear"

Calling My Daddy!!

April 25, 2019

Onyiyechukwu (Amaechi's 5 year old daughter) was playing with her mothers phone today and saw her Daddy's picture on my WhatsApp DP, and said she was calling her daddy to talk to him.

I saw the call coming in from Nnenna and hurriedly picked up the call; (the line wasn't clear) only for me to hear a tiny indistinct voice saying "Daaa dddy, Daaa dddy, Daaa dddy". I was speechless, and the line was cut off by network.

I Called Nnenna back and she was apologising,.... that it was Onyi, that she saw the picture on my DP and started making the call to speak to her Father...........

Hasn't Been Easy and Won't be Easy !!

April 25, 2019

This is really really difficult and disheartening for me to do. Not just because my in-law is no more, but also trying to put this together involves speaking to his loved ones who are still in shock and can't seem to get to grips with what has happened.

Nnenna and the kids haven't stopped crying. Did a VideoFaceTime this morning to Amaechi's kids, Ezinne and i were so so deflated and overcome with emotions and helplessness took over both of us. BUT WHY

Words can not really give a perspective of how we truly felt.
