Amy Be anyi,
The last time I felt the pain of loosing someone, was when I lost my dad. Since then I always look at someone's demise without so much feeling of loss. But yours was another so painful. I was busy calling everyone I have their contact in the office to tell me it was a lie, I could remember calling Mrs Josephine and she was crying like a little child, that I couldn't help but having tears roll down as I try to make peace with the reality that you are no more.

One thing I am sure of is that you won't be forgotten. You're a huge example that one doesn't need an exalted position to touch lives. You indeed touched enough lives and God is happy you were here, little wonder He wanted you so dearly that He had to call you home too early.

Till we meet to part no more,
Som Som

'Amee' I have been struggling to accept and if I may say so, still in denial that you're truly gone. If death could be postponed, I would definitely have jumped at the opportunity to postpone yours if given. You were well known and admired for your authenticity, humility, respect for self and others, integrity and above all, your ever gentle smile and laughter. All of your relationships were transformed by one single ingredient: 'love'. Thank you for the great privilege of having known you for over 8 years. Your death has now made it clear to me that the present moment is precious and that I should make the most of it by loving fully and generously. Adieu 'Ameee' (as I fondly used to call you), rest on in God's bossom till we meet again.

Iya Ibeji I call her and she responds calling me baba merin. She wears her smile always and is hardly on the edge. She is quick to help out in ways she can. May God grant her families goodness and nurture her children to maturity.

*The Sun set*
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
Amarachi God's Best, we love you, God loves you more...... Adieu!

Dear Sis Amarachi (Iya ibeji as I fondly called you),

I can't stop dreaming of your coming back to live with us and do those tasks we used to do together. You've been more than a colleague, you were such an irreplaceable being in my life personally and officially. I can go on and on ... hoping you'll wake up to continue to live your peaceful life but unfortunately not on this side of the world anymore.

I will continue in the strength with which you served God and humanity while here and I sure hope you're in the bossom of our saviour.

I'm confident in God to bless and keep your fruits. "He that keeps Israel do not sleep not slumber", He will watch over them more than you could do.

Rest on dear sister till we meet to part no more.

Dear Amarachi,

I am still struggling vehimently to wake up to the reality that you are no more on this side of the divide.

You were a friend, sister and partner in many regards. Our chats, deep discussions and strategy sessions cannot be forgotten.
Arup Fellowship will miss you dearly, but we are all comforted knowing that you are in heaven.

I will miss your smile, keep smiling overthere.

May God grant your family the true and real comfort.

Goodnight.

Amarachi,

The news of your sudden and untimely demise greeted me with extreme shock and pain. I am however comforted by the fact that there is no mistake in God and that all things work together for the good of them that love God and are called according to his purpose.

May God rest your soul and comfort your family in a way no man can.

Adieu!

Iya nbiu - My amiable ever smiling friend

June 24, 2021
Amarachi was a person that I cannot really say how our little closeness in the office started , She was that person whom you will be forced to love and appreciate , we constantly pressurised me when ever She had one thing of the other that I was meant to do or solve for her, if She saw me 50 times, She would remind me that number of times. She really sat comfortably in everyone's heart in the office, You would be forced to joke or taunt her before She does it to you first.  I nicknamed her Iya nbiu ( meaning mother of Two or twins) .  I was torn apart upon hearing her demise as I quickly remembered her consoling words when we lost Adekunle Adeleye( a former office colleague and cousin brother) barely a year + 3 months after ,Amarachi too joined Kunle. It is very pathetic to me losing these two jolly people whom I cherished so much ..   Adieu to you both ( Kunle and Amarachi) remain restful in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ ...
