The Life of Amari Kelley

March 25, 2022
Amari Shawnte Kelley, was born on June 15, 2005 to Margaret Adams and Renicul Kelley Sr. in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Amari was a great young man who had a big heart and a beautiful personality to go with it.  His smile lit up the room wherever he went.  He had a kind heart and he believed that loyalty was very important.  Amari was very big on family, and he loved his parents and siblings with his whole heart.  He was a peacemaker who tried to make sure that people loved instead of hate.  He w, as always, the first person to greet a family member or friend when they visited us at the house, and he would do it with the biggest hug to make them feel welcomed.  Amari did not know a stranger, and he could make a friend wherever he went. He always addressed his mother as his, “Beautiful Queen”, and he always showed respect and manners towards everyone he knew.
Amari was an 11th grader at Northwest High School. He was an athlete who played basketball and football in elementary school on up to high school.  His dream in life was to be an entrepreneur and have his own business like his father.  He was motivated to be successful by starting his own business at a young age by selling electronics, and he was always trying to find ways to make money.  His goal was to be so financially set that he could take care of his family one day.  He loved to play PlayStation games in his spare time to spend time with his friends online.  His laugh and his personality was contagious. He had a heart of gold.
On March 19,2022, God saw fit to call his angel home.  Amari was preceded in death by his father, Renicul Kelley Sr. who he loved and missed dearly, and now he is back with him in heaven smiling upon us.  He leaves to cherish his memories his mother Margaret Adams; Step-Father Nathaniel Adams; siblings, Malayna, Renicul Jr., Josiah, Rihyael, Micah, Hezikiah, Azaliah, Roman, and Bria Kelley, Jordan Russell, Nyaisa, Uriel, and Natalia Adams; Three grandmothers Leonora Grant,  Druscilla Kelley, and Christine Burrell-Nix Simms; his Grandfather Johnny Nix; Uncle Christopher Cameron; Aunt Christina Cameron; Uncle Ira nix; Aunt April Nix; Three nephews Avery Mackey, Adonis Holloway, and Shaquille Holloway; Two nieces, Nyla Coleman and Miliah Murray, and a host aunts, uncles, cousins relatives, and many friends.
