Amarya’s Birth
May 27, 2022
I, Amaryas aunt/caca, remember her birth like it was yesterday. I was thrilled to meet the baby I spent 9 months talking to in her mamas belly.
When heather gave birth, I felt like my heart was gonna explode. I was so nervous. I was thinking “what if she doesn’t like me”? But……when I held her for the first time, the first thing I ever said to her was “hi mars bars”. I don’t even know where it came from, but I've been calling her that ever since and I will continue to call her that everyday. That little girl made me an auntie, and it’s a feeling I can’t even describe
Everyone who met her, knew that she was gonna be very special and they were right. My niece had so much to offer this world, and my job as an aunt now is to make sure her memory stays alive and to take care of her little brother.
