Jealous of the Angels
To my dearest and most beloved cousin and friend,
It is almost unimagineable to think of how many days have come and gone without being able to see or talk to you. I know you are in a better place and are watching over all of us. However, I would love nothing more than if you were back on earth with us. I just wanted to share this song with you. Every time I hear it, you instantly come to my mind. All the great memories we shared over the years hold a special place in my heart that will never be forgotten. You will forever and always be my "twin." Love you!!

Cousin Love
Now that you’re in Heaven,
I know you’re watching over me.
I never will understand,
Why you had to leave.
I know that God had a reason,
He had a special place for you.
It doesn’t make it any easier,
To live this life without you.
I always will remember,
All the memories we made.
From mud pies to shopping days,
To even college visit days.
No one will ever,
Be able to fill your place.
Every time I hear our song,
I will know your dancing too.
You were not only my cousin and best friend,
But my twin and “sister” too.
I never will forget that smile,
Or your love for playing things.
Family gatherings,
Will just never be the same.
I can still picture the last time I seen you,
We were at grandma’s café.
Washing dishes together,
And reminiscing.
I know it will get easier,
Each and every day.
I didn’t get a chance to say good-bye,
But I will see you again someday!
Love you girl,
Brook
