A Tribute to Mama.Today it's one year since you left us.
Gone are the days when you called five times a day to check on us
Gone are the days when you wake up 5 AM to make sure Puggie, Bill, Archlyne and Favor are up and ready for school.
Gone are the days when you made sure I send your supply and petty cash(and can finish before the month ends)
Gone are the days when we discussed our heart to heart talk ( so so geez)
Gone are the days when you give, give and give all you had to someone in need and
Gone are the days when we cried and prayed together,
Mama you left an indelible mark on me and everybody you encountered
Am still hurting inside becuz I want those days to come back but it's not possible..but one thing I know you are just gone to sleep..so I say sleep on Meus ..Goodnight..we shall meet in the New Jerusalem. Love you endlessly ❤❤❤

Happy Heavenly Birthday Mama. I couldn't call you this morning and sing my usual happy birthday song. I really miss you. The sound of your voice, your sweet smile, your vibrant laughter are dearly missed. I listen to a voicemail over and over again that says " Vannah this is Mama call me. I have not talked to you two days now. Call me Mama loves you". Yeah this is too fresh Mama...oh God give me strength. Sleep well yah.

Our sincerest condolences to the family and dear friends of The Honorable Amelia Roberts Holmes. We pray God provides each of you with the peace shared in Philippians chapter four of The Holy Bible.

" And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours] ." Phil 4:7 (ABV)

Lady Joyce and Rev. Roland Barcon we love you and we miss you but will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers, but mostly close in heart.

Our love to the family; we are so sorry for your loss. To live is Christ, but to die is gain. Sis. Amelia gained!

It was in 2005 thereabout and I've just started my career as an IT practitioner. I became friends with Bhator, later Jusu and Archie whose friendship I will cherish forever.
Very nice and intelligent siblings who will later introduce me to Mot. Holmes(their mother).

She immediately took me into her arms and provided me with an opportunity that I'd appreciate to this day.

Sadly! we got a piece of news sometime in February that this Angel has stopped breathing.
A new realm has awakened and we don’t have a possible replacement.

Writing condolences is often an emotional and intimidating experience. It can be challenging to find the right words to offer support, comfort, and empathy.

We will miss you and your impact on our lives. We will carry those memories together for the rest of our life.

To the Children, I hope we can celebrate the life Mrs. Holmes lived, and always remember the good times you shared as a family.
