His Life

Chapter One.

Amos Olusegun Bajela was born on the 7th day of September in 1931 to the family of Emmanuel Eeretokun and Alice Bajela of Itoko, Abeokuta, Ogun state Nigeria. 

His father was a retired blacksmith from the Nigeria Railway Corporation and also a cocoa farmer who later established his own Blacksmith workshop in Olodo along Abeokuta/Ibadan road, in Ogun state, Nigeria. 

A third child of the eight children of his mother. 

A.O Bajela had his elementary education and further studies in Abeokuta before he proceeded to lagos,Nigeria.

He had a brief stint with African Petroleum while on a correspondence course in Bookkeeping&Accounting.

He was the first manager of the first African Petroleum fuel station in Agege before he crossed over into Aviation when he gained employment into Nigeria Airways Authority and began a journey into a life career in Engineering, majoring in aircraft maintenance which took him all over the world studying and improving on his skills before he retired in 1989 from a career that spanned over a period of 35 years. 

A.O was a focused, determined and diligent scholar through his career, this helped him to excel.
