She is now and forever will be in the arms of the angels. She has done her deeds here on earth and sown her seeds of happiness and goodwill. It was just time for her to move on to her next adventure which I'm sure she is bursting to share with us all. So then our dearest Amy, until we see each other again

I'm sorry we abandoned this website....so many people had already written such beautiful things on facebook, it seemed like it was duplication of comments. For those of you who posted here, thank you very much.  We miss our daughter beyond words....she would have been 42 on the 21st....it still seems surreal she is really gone and we'll never experience her wonderful bear hugs, her great sense of humor, her attention to detail and her commitment to family and friends and her beautiful smile.

THAT SMILE. God needed you to be somewhere else, and took you away, I find peace in that. God left me with the visual of that wonderful smile, and those warm, welcoming hugs that you always gave me when we would see each other after long periods of time without. Nothing can ever take that away, and I will always smile thinking about, and visualizing your smile,,,,matter of fact I am right now. Keep smiling girl, you are still here, and you still make me smile.

LOVE YOU !!

Dear Fritz, Beth and Roxy, We just heard today that your daughter Amy passed away in August...this is so sad, I remember her as a little girl, so happy and full of life. Our very deepest condolences go out to you, we were so sorry and shocked to hear this. Seemed she lived not too far from us. We hope you stay strong in times like this; I would like to call you, its been a long time. Right now, I (Rick) am still in shock at hearing about Amy. God bless you both and your family, and hope to talk to you soon? Our deepest sympathy, Ric and Connie Schurk

I am unfortunately unable to attend Saturday’s memorial but wanted to pass along my deepest condolences. I worked with Amy at Amazon for the past 17 years – we started just about the same time there and have been in HR together all these years. I was her manager for a couple of years when we started the ERC (Employee Resource Center) you likely heard her mention. My heart is broken over the loss of such a wonderful person. I always admired Amy’s passion, thirst for knowledge, and adventurous spirit. She loved you all dearly – her family members, choir and church, sorority sisters, Patrick, and friends. Her trips to Curlew were so special to her and nothing would get in her way of taking the time off. Amy was very dedicated at work, but did not compromise on her time with family and friends.

I will miss her wit and amazing knack for random facts. Amy was always proud to have worked at Amazon for so many years, and I feel lucky to have shared that time with her. In honor of that and Amy’s love of facts, I wanted to share one. Amy frequently visited a tool we have that shows how many people have worked at Amazon as long as you. Worldwide there are only 227 employees hired before Amy, 136 in Seattle. She helped shape our HR team we have today. My thoughts and prayers go out to you. –Jenni (Smith) Dobner

Beth and Fritz - Roxie, We are so sad to hear about Amy. You all are in our thoughts and prayers. Words can't express our sympathy for you all, but please know we are here for you and thinking of you and sharing in the deep sadness. This is a beautiful site.  The photos tell it all a beautiful girl on the outside and beautiful spirit...sparkling eyes...just like she was as a little girl living next to us on 19th avenue. We love you and are thinking of you. XOXO Vickie & Karen

There is such a huge void in our hearts.....we can't believe our beautiful daughter has been taken from us so soon but we have to have faith that she is with the Lord. This poem pretty much says it all...once we can come to grips with life without our Amy. I love you with all my heart and I will until the day I can finally join you again....

Remembered Joy
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free!
I follow the plan God laid for me,
I saw His face, I heard His call,
I took His hand and left it all....
I could not stay another day,
To love, to laugh, to work or play;
Tasks left undone must stay that way.
And if my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss....
Ah yes, these things I, too, shall miss.
My life's been full, I've savored much:
Good times, good friends, a loved-one's touch.
Perhaps my time seem all too brief-
Don't shorten your with undue grief.
Be not burdened with tears of sorrow,
Enjoy the sunshine of the morrow.
