Christmas

December 17, 2019
So every year at Christmas time I remember how Amy always made it a HUGE deal.
Amy collected LOTS of trinkets. At Christmas time, starting the day after Thanksgiving, we would go to Home Depot and get our tree. Then we would come home and of course we would start decorating the tree. That is after she tied the tree with fishing wire and tacked it to the wall so that the cat couldnt pull it down... But wait back to the trinkets. So she would pack up every single trinket so she could display all the Christmas trinkets. I mean she even went as far as hanging xmas towels in the bathroom and hanging christmas plates. You know those covers that people put over there burner on there stovetop? Well Amy even packed up the ones she had out all year round so she could put the xmas ones out...
We all were thankful for New years Day. That was the day that everything got put away. Dont get me wrong we all were thankful to her because every year it was a christmas we would never forget...
Rip Amy we all love you and miss you so much. We think of you daily. Christmas just isnt the same without you.

My adopted mom

April 14, 2019

So Amy to me was my adopted mom. The relationship that I had with  my mom was always a strained one. We had moments of togetherness but more frequently there was times of frustration and loneliness. Now because I felt so alone and empty because not  having a mom figure around in my life thats when Amy pulled me into her room one night, sat me down on her bed and grabbed my hand and told me" Kat, you never have to feel alone. I know.how.much you wish your relationship with your mom was a good one. Since it hasnt been i want you to know that Nana and I both we are your mother and grandmother. We concider you our daughter. We love as if you were ours. "

To me that was the best feeling in the world. I forever loved her for this. She will always half a huge place.in my heart always and forever. R.I.P.
