Andre Pernell Morris (Dre) was born July 19,1967, to the late Norman and Sharon Morris who both preceded him in death. He was the eldest of this union. Andre was educated in the Detroit Public School System. After graduation he entered the workforce where he acquired many skills and was a hard worker at whatever he did.

Andre was "The Great Storyteller", he had many adventures throughout his life that he would talk about that would bring you to tears with laughter. He was a lover of all kinds of music, you would often see him with a pen and paper writing down lyrics to his next song he was going to sing or have someone else sing. Andre was known for giving a person a name that would just stick to them, one that comes to mind is "Diddad" which he affectionately calls his son. If you knew Andre you knew he didn't sit still for no one always on the move by way of train, plane, automobile, and bike. 

He leaves to reminisce his memories his beloved son Donell, his siblings Derrick (Darnishia), Derrice (LaTrina), Dana (Lee), Damon (Anita), Dawn and extended siblings Norman (Tammy), Michael, David, Maria (Dasumo), James (Joann), Corey and two cousins more like brothers Sherrod and Rachard and a host of Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
