Mom

Where do I start on this …. Mom was a wonderful person, good to all and loving to everyone. I remember when my father was so ill and she and dave came in and did the last rites with me and the resident priest. I remember she was so sweet and did whatever she could to help out. I know that in my heart she will remain forever. She did so much, when we would gather at tom and christines for celebrations and dinners and the Christmas time gathering she would so enjoy and look forward to these events. I knew it meant a lot to her to have all the great attention and being with the family. I know that she loved giving wherever she could. All you wanted to do was be with her and love her. There are those that touch your heart and those that go beyond and touch your soul. She was truly an angel on this earth. I will miss talking to her every day. I would say hi mom and she would say OH let me take this old hearing aid out so I can hear you better” that always made me smile. She was so sweet. With whatever she needed I would try to be sure she had. One time she asked  laura could you find me a dentist…. Or laura could you find me a doctor… whatever she needed I would take time out from work to research and get her to someone good. I would read all the comments on these doctors. It was a pleasure no more than that an honor to do it for her as she had done so much for me. I will always remember the talks and the fun things that happened over the years. I have been married for 36 years and have known mom for 40 and those 40 years were the happiest of times.  I would like to say, thanks mom and you are now seeing oliver and all the family that has gone before…….. love you and know in my heart is where you will always stay. Thanks aunt Priscilla for taking mom in when she needed it most. You are an angel as well in this life and Loraine for her caring for mom but more than that loving her as we all did. Randy and sandy for caring about mom and seeing to her needs. Dave and tommy for taking her to doctors appointments too. Its amazing what family does for one another. I would like to thank my friend kay powell for her concern over mom and her lending advice on some things when I needed ask questions on stuff concerning mom. She was always helping me with whatever I needed to find out.

You know I have received a wonderful gift to cherish, I have the the privilege of being married to your son, david. In him I see olivers eyes, his inteligence and strength, and I find your loving and caring ways in him too. This clearly shows us that you live on in him and oliver too.

God bless you and know that you are onto an eternity filled with happiness and love ………….. Thank you Jesus for all you do. Thank you for keeping her in your saving grace. We loved you mom until we meet again. Good night and peace be with you.
