The best memories of days Dad enjoyed was the times we would all be camping together. It was something he really came to love. We spent a lot of times together and went to alot of atracktions through our camping trips. I know he really love their last 2 big camping trip that took them around the country. His love for the outdoors and camping in it is forever in our blood and both Scott, I and our wifes have got that same love to this day. Thank you Dad for showing the wonders that God has created in the great outdoors and how to enjoy and love the times spent there.

Dad submitted his paperwork years ago and was eagerly waiting the memorial's completion.

He missed it by 5 months.

One of my greatest memories of Dad was my final year in Boy Scouts and we were about to go on my last canoe trip down the Delaware River.


Dad was a leader and he asked me that since it was my last trip, I could go down the river with anyone of my friends, Dad and I had always gone together.


I told Dad I especially wanted to take my last trip with him and wouldn't want it any other way.  All Dad said was 'Okay'.

Later on, Mom told me that he had gotten a choked up and felt honored that I would prefer going with him that any of my good friends for that one last time.
