Andrew grew up on the beautiful Conesus Lake in upstate New York down the street from his grandparents. Andrew and his younger brother, David, spent summers boating and waterskiing out on the lake. Andrew enjoyed sports, as most boys do, playing high school soccer and baseball. Andrew went to high school in Geneseo where he met many of his best friends including Tom, Mark, Connor, Jeff, and the two Ryans. Andrew and his family took many vacations including annual trips to Florida to see Andrew's mom's family as well as ski trips out west with the whole Long crew.

Andrew sent fantastic snapchats. They were always one of three things:

(1) lab experiments involving fire,
(2) Pepper (the puppy) in adorable poses, or
(3) random bumper stickers with Andrew's sarcastic commentary.

The snapchat to the left was the last one I ever got from Andrew. Not suprisingly, it was his "frog dog."

On September 23, 2011 Andrew married Katie Van Cleve near the Van Cleve's house in Maryland. After living together in Center City Philadelphia for three years, the couple moved to Wilmington, North Carolina. In North Carolina, Andrew and Katie met a lot of good friends, especially through Andrew's work at Quality Chemical Labratories. Katie and Andrew adopted a rambunctious and cuddly lab/pit mix named Pepper in early 2014. In September they bought a beautiful house in the woods.

Andrew went to Colgate University from 2005 to 2009 graduating with a BA in Chemistry and Minor in Applied Mathematics. Andrew was part of Theta Chi and played drums in the wind ensamble (temporarily after his friend begged him to). Andrew met his future wife, Katie, sophomore year during a wedding-themed party.
