Her Life

Great Mother and Wife and Dedicated Teacher

November 6, 2013

my mother was a good wife and  good mother of 6 children and she was also a great teacher.

She was born in  FIH -EL-KOURA, North Lebanon December 1921.

She was married to my loving father Joseph Haidar; who took care of her in last several years of her life and that period brought them closer together.

She was the mother of 6 children who loves her so much and cared a lot for her.

My Mother was the first teacher in her birth town FIH -EL-KOURA, North Lebanon.

She taught  30+ years in FIH Elementary school  and was a school principal for 10+ years in the same town where she lived most of her life.

She lived some of her advanced years between Concord, California and Little Rock Arkansas.

She used to teach in a small private room at her parents home in FIH  daily during her single years after  finishing her daily teaching job. She had great passion and desire to educate young students and help them achieve their educational goals so that would able to prepare for a better life and brighter future.

Many of her students said that she taught them the first letter and without her many would not have the sucessfull life they are  leading today.

She was also a loving mother. She sacrified her life for the care of her children.

She also raised her Grand son John Khoury since he was few months old until he reached the age of 12. He learned a lot  from her and looked up to her. She was a great role model for him.

My mother was blessed with the care of her children who provided care for her at each stage in her life.

My Mother will always be remembered in her town FIH-EL-KOURA by many generations to come for her strong personnality, her determination and her dedication to the noble teaching career and  as the first woman teacher in her town.

She will be remembered by her love to her family and students.

and She will also be remembered by friends in the US and around the world who loved her dearly.
