This memorial website was created in memory of the most beloved mother, wife, sister, aunt, and grandmother, Angela "Heling" Fredeluces Cabanilla. We will remember her, cherish her, and love her forever.
It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of our matriarch. On April 9, 2021, Heling earned her angel wings and her bright light that once shined among us is now shining above us. She radiated the most calming aura and welcomed everyone she met as if they were family. Heling’s heart was so selfless and her actions, despite her personal pain, was always worrying about the well-being of others. For example, even when she was bedridden and weak, she used her voice not to communicate her discomfort, but to make sure that her great-grandson was taken care of when she heard him crying. She consistently sacrificed everything she had to help her family back in the Philippines even if it meant giving them her last dollar.
Heling lived a long and happy life. She is survived by her six living children, George, Cristy, Cora, Ness, Ely, and Leogien. Her legacy lives on in 28 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 6 great great-grandchildren. We will always remember our matriarch, Heling, as loving, kind, and humble. She had the sweetest soul and she always put her family first.
The Cabanilla Family greatly appreciates all your prayers and condolences. The family is overwhelmed by the support shown so far and cannot thank you all enough for your generosity. All donations provided for Heling will go towards the funeral costs as the family deals with this loss. The family greatly appreciates any contributions, regardless of monetary value.
