Angie was my god daughter, she had already been baptised in hospital after she was born but her Mum, my friend Isobel kindly asked me to be Angie’s godmother when she was baptised again a few months later.
I remember her christening day like yesterday as she was the biggest baby being christened that day as all the other babies were only a few weeks old.
She had a bonnet on her & was the cutest baby in the church.
I moved away from the area where Angie’s family lived the following year but her family & mine stayed in touch over the years.
I moved back to that area & came back into Angie’s life years later only to find out of her situation but despite it Angie remained upbeat and could always have a laugh.
I’ll never forget you Angie baby as you definitely are a special lady.
