Her Life
May 16, 2014

Anna was born on May 24, 1945 to Mary L (Howley) Penney and Richard L. Penney. She started her life with her parents and three siblings in Everett Massachusetts.  They later moved to W. Peabody.  Anna started a modeling career which she enjoyed very much.  She spent many days with Nina(Penney) and Durwood Ireland, her aunt and uncle.  They too were involved in her career.

Sometime during or before her career she met Charles J. Crocker Jr of Everett, they got engaged when Anna was 18 years old and married a short time later.  Anna continued modeling until she gave birth to their first Child Barbara. She had six children in total four girls two boys.  They kept her and Charles very busy.  Later Anna and Charles split up and she settled with her Children in Stoneham.  She began her small yet most enjoyable career/business with Penney's Peek-a-poos.  Animals where and always stayed a big part of her life.  She treated each and everyone as she did the children and family around her.

About October 1984 Anna and us children moved to Florida, that is where she met her husband Don.  They were married for 27 years.  They enjoyed the simple things in life, family time, animals (horses, cats, dogs, chickens, and their monkey Mandy), and most importantly each others company. Anna also enjoyed ceramics, doing puzzles, she could work on them for hours.  Always had the hardest ones, and the most unique.

Anna had been diagnosed with Pulomary Fibrosis.  No one knew her out come and neither did she.  Most do not have the opportunity to live another 17 years after diagnoses, most only 3-5 years.  The last year was the hardest,  she fought long and hard.  Never ever ever giving up.  Always said I will be here until I am 105.

Anna was blessed with 6 children, son and daughter in-laws, 21 grand-children and 4 great grandchildren.
