The life of Anna Marie is a blessing to our family. She was our eldest sister and a hero in her sibling's eyes. Her heart was full of so much love and her face radiated with beauty and life, especially her smile. She was kind to all she knew and loved music; she played the flute and guitar. She was the inspiration for me to join marching band during high school, considering she was in the Hug High School marching band as a sophomore.
I remember a dream I had of Anna shortly after she passed away in 2000. Our family, except my dad, was driving in the car. I don't know why but Anna didn't seem the same, but it wasn't as if she had actually changed...there was just something different about her aspect. My mom and other sisters were arguing in the car and they seemed to forget I was even there amid the contention. But Anna turned around and leaned toward me. She couldn't say anything to me, but it seemed as if she wanted to let me know that she loved me and that things were going to be alright.
Although she is now in the spiritual realm, she has made sure that God will take care of her family while she is apart from them. That is her promise to us. She is our angel.
