Let the memory of Anna be with us forever

She loved people more than anything in her life, and every where she went she drew a crowd to her. She genuinely cared for them, and spent her entire life looking to the needs of others. She didn't care what you wore or what you did or didn't do, she viewed everyone as children of God and always extended to them love and acceptance and support. Her smile was angelic, her laugh contagious. Her family will miss them both dearly. Throughout her struggles in life she continued to grow in beauty and strength. She gave us all courage and hope and reminded each of us the precious gift love and family is in this life.

"Stewart and I visited Shea's grave today. It's a beautiful sunny Sunday day and I know she is enjoying the weather as much as I am. In church today we talked about choices. The speaker shared a story about Charlie Brown packing a snowball in his hand and Lucy getting ready to walk by and Charlie Brown is getting ready to throw the snow ball at Lucy when Lucy all of a sudden shouts "Charlie brown you can do two things! You can either throw that snowball at me and I will pound your face into the ground or you can not throw the snowball and I will let you live!" Charlie Brown relentlessly drops the snowball to the ground and says "life is full of choices, but I don't get any!" Haha sometimes in life we may feel like we don't have a choice... That we are given difficult trials without our choosing. Shea wasn't given the choice to not have to battle a horrible and very painful condition known to us as cancer. But Shea knew she had a choice to take her trials and make the most of them. she had the choice to continue to show love and to be grateful for life and for others. She had a love for life that many of us choose to not experience. So in honor of Shea I know I have a choice. With this I choose to love like she did, and realize that life isn't fair...but I can either sit around and be grumpy about it or I can choose to take everything that comes my way and see the good and the beauty. Love you Shea, miss you always."
