Our dear mother will be sadly missed by her two daughters Jackie Sheffield and Sandra (Frank) Stairs and by all who knew her. Mom was the baby of nine siblings, born in Sheet Harbour, N. S. the daughter of Eldridge and Laura Lowe, we used to laugh and think her mother might have said "That's enough of that". Mom was the last surviving member of her immediate generation.  Mom was a Registered Nurse studying in Halifax/Dartmouth, and later employed at the Nova Scotia Sanatorium.  Director of Nursing at Palmeter's Country Home, Kentville, N. S. Mom loved everyone, and never complained and she loved her children and grandchildren as well as all the animals and telling stories and this site is for those stories to live on. Please feel free to add any stories or thoughts you have about Mom. 101 years of stories.
