Dr. Anne Jacobson Nunno, age 63, passed away on September 4, 2016, in Piedmont, California.

 

She is survived by her beloved son, Alexander Nunno of Oakland, CA and Washington, D.C. and is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Vincent Nunno of Oakland, CA.

 

Anne was born in St. Louis, Missouri on January 22, 1953 to the late Ruth Krause Jacobson and the late Buddy Jacobson.  She attended The Mary Institute in St. Louis, received a B.A. in psychology from Pomona College in Pomona, CA and a Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.  A loving mother, avid reader, and advocate for animals, Anne  was incredibly stylish, good-humored, and quick-witted.  She was a clinical psychologist in the San Francisco Bay Area for many years before retiring.
