"You are my sunshine" is still on our mirror and you are still in my heart. I miss you Annemarie, your smile, your laugh, your kiss and your touch.

We shared so much more than others may ever realize. We shared a closeness that is precious and a friendship that is everlasting. We knew we didn't have to be afraid to open up to one another, of trusting each other completely, of appreciating every moment of time we spent in each others company. I was never afraid to let you see me cry and you wer the one person I wanted to be with when I wanted to have fun or act silly. Through it all I knew you understood me the same way I understood you. There are people I love and care about dearly but there is no one got me like you did. When I look back, our friendship was one of the best things about yesterdays. Your friendship was what I could always count on. How fortunate we were that our best friend was also our lover and sweetheart. I love and miss you and pray there is a heaven so we can be together again.

You make me happy when skies are gray. You'll never know how much I love you, please don't take my sunshine away. The other night as I lay sleeping, I dreamed I held you in my arms. When I awaken, I was mistaken and I hung my head and I cried. Annemarie wrote "You are my Sunshine" on our bathroom mirror and it is still there today.
