Words can’t express how much I love and miss you. You were the one to hold us all together. I miss ur smiles, ur hugs and most definitely ur cooking. Yet today I get the same bar soap(Caress) you used so I can smell the sweetness of Grandma. Continue to watch over us and know that ur missed every day.

This is the first Mother's Day without you physically on Earth. I miss you dearly. We were at your house last night celebrating with family. It was very awkward at first because you were not sitting in your normal spot. I found peace in knowing that you continue to live in every person that was there. You will continue to live in and through us all the days of our lives. I'm sure you are rejoicing with Granddaddy on his earthly birthday in the precious arms of Jesus. I love you and will continue to follow your example and teachings.

My Sweet Mommy,
God, I miss you so much. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you and long for you. I so miss the weekends I spent taking care of you. I miss having you in your special space in our home that Gwen and I made especially for you. I haven't been to the house yet...I just can't seem to build up enough courage. But, I will soon. A lot has happened since you left. Another one of your sons (and my brother), Sammie, has joined you in that Heavenly place. I guess you probably know that by now, though. Yeah, we were shocked, hurt and surprised! It was a big blow to me and I'm not handling all this so good. I can't stop crying because I miss him so much. And my God...his children. I can't get them off my mind. I feel so bad for them but I don't think I can be any help to them in the state I'm in right now. But, I'm praying that our Father will keep us, heal our hearts and help us all be helpful to each other.
